Meeting House

Meeting House is a 36-unit mixed-income housing development at the intersection of Dorchester's Jones Hill, Meetinghouse Hill and Savin Hill neighborhoods. In response to community feedback during the permitting process, Arx Urban procured public subsidy to add affordability to the project significantly above city requirements of 13%; 58% of units are restricted at workforce and affordable levels through the MassHousing Workforce Housing Initiative and the City of Boston Community Preservation Act Fund (for which Arx Urban was the first ever project to receive funding).

The project is 100% electric with solar power on the roof and includes The Meeting House Doors Project: Arx Urban commissioned four local artists during the COVID pandemic to create installations on each of the apartment entry doors, creating a truly unique experience for tenants and visitors.
